Make a journal entry with the 5 words I give you and describe what those words mean to you. **

1. fashion: Fashion doesn't just remind me of glitzy magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair. Fashion reminds me of a person's essence, really. Outward expression is a great indicator of inner thoughts and feelings, so someone's wardrobe to me reflects them pretty directly as a person.
But fashion (as just pure, raw FASHION) is edgy, hardcore, and intense. The world of fashion is just frightening. To me it kind of represents the cutthroat, competitive, beautiful and virulent side of society.
2. birds: I have two parakeets, Ingrid and Bogart/Bogey (named after Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart, lifelong lovers). (:
But funny that this was one of my words because I have always, always aspired to fly. I've always felt a personal, daresay spiritual connection to birds, and was seriously considering giving my fursona a bird form. Birds represent freedom and the ability to reach heights that land-dwellers can only dream of, so to me personally they represent my dreams and aspirations.
3. stereotypes: They're created by people who are immature and not satisfied with themselves in order to flatter their own egoes. They're disgusting, inexcusable, and inappropriate. And just downright wrong.
4. pasty: Makes me think of the fact that I probably have celiac disease. :/
5. elevators: I get horible vertigo whenever I get off of elevators and escalators, and I always get those two words mixed up! xD
Also, I had a dream once that two of my characters that hated each other got stuck in an elevator together. It was wonderful. It was hilarious. But mostly just wonderful and hilarious. xDDD

Do you guys have any computer suggestions? I have a TON of music (like....thousands and thousands, and my collection ever grows) and I edit movies on occasion. But it's mostly for interwebz, writing (ESPECIALLY writing, I tend to do that a lot xD), and muuuuuuusic. So is there anyone who has one of these computers and just, like, absolutely hates it? Or any suggestions as to which laptop I should get? It has to be in the $1100 or less range, and the one I built it $1097.
